Mark spent 32 years of his working career at International Dairy Queen, Inc., whose world headquarters are located in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
His family was active in the automobile business in Minneapolis for over 40 years.
Mark was also involved in the construction business through his brother's bricklaying company, Broin Brick, Inc., and through The CAMIS Corporation, offering services such as HVAC, flooring, electrical and plumbing project management, and equipment/parts sourcing.
He is also been an active private investor in real estate, and small startup high technology and biotechnology companies.
After retiring from International Dairy Queen, Inc. in 2003, Mark worked at The Home Depot in the Plumbing Department, and certified himself for every position in the store in order to learn more about the building trades.
As an Engineering Student at GMI, Mark worked at the AC Electronics Division of General Motors on guided missile defense systems such as the Titan, MinuteMan, and related Ground Support Equipment Systems. He also worked on support and guidance systems developed as part of the Apollo Spacecraft program.
He worked for Red Owl Stores, Inc. as a stockman in the grocery industry; at The Alps, Inc. as a bar tender, waiter and cook; and at various other temporary jobs during his college career.
